If you or someone you care about has been diagnosed with cancer, you can access reliable, expert information in your local community. At our Macmillan Information Points in East Renfrewshire Libraries, you’ll find Macmillan information booklets covering a range of topics for people living with or beyond cancer, and their family, friends or carers, which are free to take home. These include different types of cancer, treatments and side effects, the emotional, practical and financial impact of cancer, and help on information on healthy eating and exercise. You’ll also find details of the nearest Macmillan East Ren service for drop-in, in-person support, where you can talk to our trained volunteers over tea or coffee about how you’re feeling and any worries you may have
